Competitive Soccer

Although there is no organized competitive play within the BERA Soccer Club, a number of the club members play on the BSC Upton team in the Suffolk County Men’s Soccer League (SMSL).  Games are on Sundays (late afternoon). The BERA Recreation Park soccer field is used as the home field.

Prior to the formation of the BSC Upton team in 2005, BERA Soccer Club members formed the core of the Brookhaven team. This team won the 1996 Division I Championship and the 1997-98 Division II Championship. We also won the Cup Tournament in 1994, the B-cup in 2005 and the Founder’s Cup in 2021.
