2018 Local Course Nine Hole Rates:

Pine Hills – Mary Jane spoke with the pro shop and they agreed to a $25 nine-hole rate walking. You must call ahead to make a tee time for 4:30 PM or later and state you are from the BNL Golf League. It will still cost $35 to ride, but I think that is their twilight rate.

Mill Pond – Because they have existing leagues playing on Tuesdays and Wednesday afternoons, no walk-ons will be able to play on Tuesday, but we can play there on Wednesday after 4:30 p.m. To play there at the twilight rate of $32 (as many holes as you can after 3:30 pm that includes a cart) or $21 for nine holes walking, you have to purchase a Mill Pond Resident card for $20 which guarantees the rates for two years. Without the card it’s $27 to walk nine holes.

Middle Island CC – again is offering a special rate to BNL golfers.  The green fees are $22 to walk and $27 to ride nine holes.
BNLers may be required to show our ID – make sure to mention you are from Brookhaven Lab.

Swan Lake – is once again offering their special evening rate of $17 for nine holes (walking) after 4:30.  $25 to ride.

Spring Lake GC – $22 to walk and $32 to ride nine holes  Mon-Fri anytime.  New Policy: nine-hole rounds must play Sandpiper, no exceptions.
Senior Tees at Spring Lake …

There has been some confusion about which tees our seniors are to use when they play matches over at Spring Lake. Unlike other courses like Pine Hills and Mill Pond that have four sets of tees, red for woman, gold for seniors, white for non-senior men, and blue for pros, Spring Lakes uses red for woman, white for seniors, blue for non-senior men and, gold for pros. Therefore, when you are playing Spring Lake, make sure that seniors are teeing off from the white tees and non-senior men are teeing off from the blue tees.
