Port Washington Table Tennis Club Invitational – Team and Singles Tournaments

The Port Washington Table Tennis Club is one of the finest table tennis clubs in the greater New York area, with an emphasis in high-standard youth programs.  Its Invitational (participants are by invitation only) is a reputable table tennis event.

Saturday July 28, 2007 – The BNL team (Yangang Liu, Jianming Bai, and Quanzhong Guo) was placed the eighth.  Note that the championship in the singles tournament was won by the “youngest” player, George H. Braithwaite at the age of 74, a former member of the USA National Table Tennis Team in the historic visit to People’s Republic of China in 1971 (George stood on the rightmost on the cover of TIME, April 26, 1971 and in the middle below).
