Welcome to the BNL Alcatraz Island Virtual Swim 2014
We begin where we ended last year at the tip of the Baja Peninsula and travel up the West coast with the goal of reaching Alcatraz Island in San Francisco Harbor. Total distance is 1400 mi. The swim will run for three months, from January 1 to March 31st, 2014. With a celebration upon completion!
Unlike in the past this year each swimmer will log his or her own lengths on the shared spreadsheet, see link below. The instructions are in the first worksheet (screen shot below).

Individual and group lengths will be totaled periodically, then converted to miles and tracked on the BNL Virtual Swim Map. (53 pool lengths = 1 mile)
