Details
Please bring a dark and/or light colored T-shirt.
Teams are not predetermined and one might expect team composition changes to feature players with different skill levels in each team for balance.
White and black vests are provided and we would appreciate that, if you use one, you would wash it and bring it back for the next session.
While healthy competition is welcome, no offensive/violent behaviour will be tolerated.
Rules:
- Stop play if someone needs to cross the gym.
- Adjustable field size as a function of the number of players (orange lines up to 5 vs 5; red lines for 7 vs 7);
- Once we reach the 15 players mark, three teams may be formed. Two teams will play for 7 minutes or until a team scores 2 goals; the outside team will then come in and replace the losing team or the team who has been playing the longest in case of tie.
- No sliding tackles allowed.
Important – Try to arrive early to warm up, help mount the goals and ensure you help putting the equipment back after the session.
Everyone with a positive and safe mindset is welcome but please ensure that you abide by the BERA activities safety guidelines before practicing Futsal – BERA Activities Safety Guidelines
In the unlikely event that an injury occurs it must be reported on the night of the incident (gym attendants have incident reports that we can fill out) and the next morning the injured player has to report to the OMC.
